Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, also called Ari Lennox, a Washington, D.C.-based American singer/songwriter, was signed as Dreamville Records' first female artist on Dreamville Records by J. Cole. Her debut EP Pho, released was released on the 21st of October, 2016 and was released through Dreamville Records. Her career began to grow in recognition. Shea Butter Baby her debut album was released on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox released her music to the internet in 2012 when she released the Five Finger Discount mixtape and Ariography EP in 2013. In 2014, she continued to release her music on the internet, including her self launched single Bound. The 21st day of July, the 21st of July in 2015 Omen featured her on Elephant Eyes the track"Sweat it Out.. J. Cole was interested in her talents and was keen to collaborate with Rihanna. On the 8th of December, it was confirmed that she had been officially signed by Dreamville Records. The album Revenge of the Dreamers II, she appeared on the track Backseat with Cozz. In October 21st, 2016 the debut EP of Ari Lennox was released under the name Pho. Ari Lennox later appeared on J. Cole's hit song Change and performed as an opening act on the 4 Your Eyez Only Tour in 2017. The year 2018 saw Ari Lennox appeared on two tracks featuring EarthGang, on Nothing but the Best, and Bas On Icarus. Ari Lennox debuted her first single from Shea Butter Baby, Whipped Cream on 16 July 2018. A music video was later released in September. On November 9 the singer released two new singles, forty Shades of Choke as well as Grampa. In November 13, she released two more singles called One and Pedigree. One and Pedigree. Shea Butter Baby. Shea Butter Baby later made appearances as a guest on Creed II album soundtrack alongside Cole. She dropped this single as a way in order to announce her debut album Creed II on 26 February 2019. In February of 2019, the video music for the song was released. It has had more than 3 million YouTube views in just a single week. In December 2018, she performed as a supporting act on The From East Atlanta With Love Tour with 6LACK.
